Today was a day at sea for us. I got up early as I had an appointment to get my nails done and the rest of the family slept in. We met up midi morning. After lunch we went upstairs and toured the bridge. Glenn will post pictures shortly but it was terrific. The bridge actually swings out to each side so that when the captain has to park he can stand on one side and see. There are three propellers in the rear- two facing backwards and one forewards. The boat only drafts 8 yards in the water which seems crazy considering the size! The also have thrusters on the sides so he can nimbly move the ship to the dock sideways. It's really very agile considering. Anyway they have electronic charts and hundreds of cameras to watch the ship. They even let the kids sit in the captains chair for pics.
After a rest the boys went downstairs to see the engine room while is girls went to see the kitchen. Unfortunately the cookist have gotten busy as he forgot us.
We did shoot some pics of the dining room which is lovely.
after that the girls and I stopped by and got our pasports with our Egyptian visa stamp and picked up some scrapbook things. Kids are once again having dinner at Adventure Ocean with their friends while Glenn and I plan to catch a show.
Oh last night Vi got a black eye. Guess she slammed face first into another girl. It is reay black and blue poor thing.
Hopefully no one will think we beat her.
