Athens Greece

Today we docked early in Athens. There us a rumored transportation strike so many of us scurried to try to secure passage into town.






Glenn an I went up on the helicopter pad and found our portholes. Kids insisted in playcare for a couple of hours before we went ashore.
We ended up booking a last minute tour. The tour bus promised to get us back on the boat in time so compared to the striking bus drivers and metro it seemed wise.



We went to the Acropolis. We didn't go in but instead walked up to the entrance and shot photos. We also looked at the theater below.


We stopped at the Olympic Stadium.


We also got to go to the plaka which is the oldest neighborhood in Athens.
