Assuming everyone has returned we should take off momentarily. We have one more day at sea before arriving back in Rome. I'm ready to be off the ship. We didn't plan well for Messina and it showed. The cathedral was lovely but there wasn't much else to see here. Prices were STEEP and the street vendors had only ugly leather cowboy hats and thin cotton dishtowells with maps of the island to sell. Not my taste at all.the city was all but destroyed by an earthquake years ago so very little old architecture exists.
Kids hav been camped at Adventure Ocean all day. Went to say hi earlier and all three said "not yet!" thinking we were picking them up. Gonna enjoy our next to last date night before we disembark and head to Rome.
