Rome on foot

Phew did walk today! Per Glenn's pedomter 15,381 steps today. At 2,000 or so steps a mile there is good reason that all our feet hurt!
We went to the settlement on the island on the Tiber and did a geocache.
Then we took the bus to Sant Angelo, the ancient papal castle and prison.


From there we walked to the
Vatican for lunch and photos.
Then on to Trevi fountain.
